BNZ Winter Corporate Challenge Series!

Well the BNZ Winter Corporate Challenge series is underway!

The Avantidrome reception was buzzing with happy faces and jittery nerves this morning, a stark comparison to the cold and dark atmosphere outside at 6.45am on a Wintery Monday morning.

There was excitement in the air as teams gathered, met their teammates, and introduced themselves to riders from other companies who would be joining them in their training sessions.

We’re looking forward to seeing these bright and bubbly faces every morning for the next 6 weeks as the 21 corporate teams train up to compete in an Italian or Team Pursuit competition here at the Avantidrome on finals night.

We’ve got a whole variety of companies from different industries and sectors competing. Of particular interest is that we have teams from the four major banks, BNZ, Westpac, ANZ and ASB – this will turn into a fierce competition in itself!
