The BNZ Corporate Challenge is back for the third year running!
What is the BNZ Corporate Challenge?
The 2016 edition of the BNZ Corporate Challenge aims to entice a variety of riders – from those who have never stepped inside the Avantidrome before, to those who will be returning for their third or fourth time. It is the perfect team challenge which provides a unique team building experience. Read here for more information.
When can I train?
The training will commence on 24 July 2016 and run for eight weeks. Teams will be allocated one training session a week, however teams can also book private track time if they feel that their team requires more practice before the big event. Teams can select training times when filling out the entry forms below.
What events can I race in?
There are four events that teams can race in:
Each team is composed of five members, both female and male; four riders will be engaged in the race. Riders may be substituted to ensure everyone has the opportunity to engage in the race nights. Each team must comprise of at least one woman. Each race must also have one woman in the racing team. This event is best suited to riders who have never ridden the track before.

Do I need to have ridden on the Avantidrome track before?
No! Entrants do not need any previous riding experience on a velodrome. Inexperienced riders will be coached through the eight week training block and will be Accredited before taking part in any racing. However, there are event options for those experiences riders (see above).
