Get your work mates together and take up the challenge.
What is the BNZ Corporate Challenge?
The BNZ Corporate Challenge is the perfect team challenge for you and your work colleagues.
No previous track cycling experience is required as you’ll be provided with a coach, bikes, helmets and a weekly training session to learn the ropes and prepare for race night against other corporate teams.
It’s a great way to build workplace morale, promote teamwork and push individual boundaries in a fun and supportive environment.
The 2018 edition of the BNZ Corporate Challenge once again aims to entice a variety of riders – from those who have never stepped inside the Avantidrome before, to those who will be returning for their fouth or fifth time.
There’s the popular Italian Pursuit category for new riders and the Cambridge Pursuit category for experienced riders. New to the fold this year is the Italian Pursuit Men’s category and Women’s only Team Sprint, both geared toward new riders.
Read on to learn more about the different team categories or download our Information Flyer.

2018 Series Dates:
Do I need to have ridden on the Avantidrome track before?
No! Entrants in the Italian Pursuit or Women’s Team Sprint categories do not need any previous riding experience on a velodrome. These riders will be coached as a team through the eight week training block before taking part in any racing. There are also event options for experienced riders (see below).
When can I train?
Team training will start from Sunday 5th August and run for eight weeks. Teams will be allocated one training session a week, however teams can also book private track time (at additional cost) if they feel that their team requires more practice before the big event. Teams can request preferred training times when filling out the entry forms below.
For experienced individuals entered in the Cambridge Pursuit Open event, two x 1 hour training sessions with an Avantidrome Coach are included in this year’s entry fee. Further training can be booked in via the Avantidrome Open sessions online (normal session charges apply).
